YEGPodfest is presented by Edmonton Community Foundation, and is a collaboration between LitFest and the Alberta Podcast Network.
We respectfully acknowledge and are grateful to present this event from Treaty 6 territory, which is a meeting place and home to many Indigenous nations, including the Cree, Nakota-Sioux, Tsuu-T’ina, Blackfoot, Papaschase, and Métis as well as many others. We extend our hand in respect and friendship to these nations, and strive to honour the tradition of sharing stories on this land.
Special thanks to Edmonton Community Foundation, our presenting sponsor.
Since our inaugural festival in 2020, YEGPodfest is held entirely online. Even staff meetings are on Zoom! Our goal is to celebrate podcasts and storytellers of this medium from here in Edmonton and afar. We hope to show audiences what podcasters are up to, engage in great conversations and even host a few learning opportunities for those working in podcasting, too.
Sit back, bust out your ear buds, and take in what the fest has to offer!
Keep listening and telling your stories,
From the YEGPodfest Crew
